Summary

We seek an accomplished and well-rounded engineer to develop and document key engineering processes to improve their efficiency and consistency across our global engineering teams. We seek a diverse skill set which may include experience with industrial machine design, SolidWorks and PDM management, Design for Lean Six Sigma, and contract manufacturing. This individual contributor will also be responsible for reviewing designs and drawings of industrial machinery. Candidates will have a strong understanding of 3D modeling and drafting, and be able to make decisions on design, material, and tolerances. Responsibilities

Innovate, Design, Develop, and Improve
This engineer will be responsible for developing and documenting new processes and workflows to improve the quality and consistency of our Engineering Departments. Additionally, this engineer will be responsible for understanding and evaluating machine designs, developing engineering solutions, assessing and solving manufacturing issues with our machinery, and creating engineering models and drawings to support our Engineering Services efforts.

We seek a well-rounded engineer who can diagnose and resolve issues in existing processes through industry best practices, standards, and methods. This person will also be responsible for creating the tools and documentation necessary for a broad team to effectively navigate each process. Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or greater in Mechanical Engineering or Similar.
A demonstrated proficiency in SolidWorks, including generating 3D models and 2D drawings.
Strong drafting skills pursuant to ANSI best practices.
Strong Microsoft Excel and Macro Skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently and on a highly collaborative team.
Proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing is a plus.
Ability to occasionally travel (domestic and international).
