SCOPE/PURPOSE OF POSITION:

  • Corning is seeking an experienced Domain Architect Global Network Services. This individual will be responsible for designing and overseeing implementation of network infrastructure solutions and projects across a large enterprise environment.

ROLES AND
Responsibilities:

  • Designing new systems, products, and services in coordination with the architecture practice
  • Creating high-level and low-level designs for enterprise IT products
  • Driving and organizing the delivery process of new technology environments
  • Assist in the adoption of architecture and standards methodology
  • Write and/or review network standards documentation
  • Ensure that environments are delivered to documented specifications
  • Serve as a subject matter expert across network infrastructure solutions and design:
  • Enterprise voice and video delivery
  • Wireless technology
  • IP management solutions (DHCP, DNS)
  • Enterprise network monitoring, capacity management, and event correlation
  • Multi-region, enterprise network delivery across LAN/WAN including software-defined strategies Strong understanding of network automation approaches
  • Analyze and align existing technology and future looking architecture with the organization s technology strategy
  • Developing and assisting with cost modeling for project implementation

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor s in computer science or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 10
    years relevant IT experience
  • 3
    years of experience in large enterprise network design and implementation with experience in voice, wireless, and software defined solutions
  • 5
    years of experience analyzing requirements for designing, delivering and overseeing network and/or network security functions/tools/processes in a large enterprise environment
  • 3
    years of network operational and engineering experience including hardware configuration, installation, and maintenance

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Proficient experience with enterprise voice and wireless solutions as well as large network routing and switching architecture
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with a broad understanding of technology topics
  • Strong leadership and effective interpersonal skills across individuals and teams
  • Ability to design and deliver large enterprise network infrastructure solutions from inception to production
  • Ability to work between information technology leadership and engineering staff to create a cohesive delivery strategy across cultures and geographic borders
  • Ability to research emerging technology and strategies and apply them to an enterprise
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

DESIRED SKILLS

  • Experienced network engineer with at least three of the following technologies:
    Cisco, Palo Alto, VMware VeloCloud, InfoBlox, Zscaler, SolarWinds, Riverbed, Ansible, Terraform and data center network architecture
  • Experience in the design and implementation of software defined networks and architectures
  • IPv6 and multicast protocols
  • Traffic and application load balancing
  • Knowledge of network and infrastructure security practices
  • PMI/PMBOK or other project management methodology experience and knowledge

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
