BWXT is currently seeking an Insurance Risk Analyst for its Charlotte, NC location!

Job Description/Duties:

  • Interface with all disciplines within corporate insurance and risk management, while aiding where needed including enterprise risk management, business continuity, and captive insurance operations.
  • Coordinate with business units for collection of insurance exposure data and values for insurance placements and renewals.
  • Direct all aspects of loss-sensitive premium allocation system across the business units, and lead corporate efforts in premium allocation, departmental billing, and processing insurance invoices.
  • Coordinate with Claims Manager and Third-Party Administrator to help oversee claim databases and reporting processes.
  • Assist legal in managing contract risk by reviewing contract insurance terms and conditions and maintaining compliance with corporate insurance programs and contracting guidelines.

Job Qualifications/Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor s degree in risk management, business management, accounting, finance, or related field is required.
  • Must possess at least two (2) years of related experience.
  • Must understand property and casualty insurance, risk management, contractual liability, and claim concepts.
  • Must be project oriented with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Must have strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to improve processes to become more efficient.
  • Works well under pressure and in a team environment.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality when working with sensitive information.
  • Must be a U.
    S.
    citizen with no dual citizenship.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
