Solution Architect - Telecommunication
Solution Architect Summary On behalf of Procom Services, our client is seeking a high caliber senior architect with excellent technical.
The Solution Architect is expected to work directly with customers, and the ideal candidate will possess an analytical mind, excellent communication skills, superior presentation experience, and a successful track record in a similar role.
The candidate must have the desire and determination to expand the definition and delivery of our client's solutions, and be able to position high-value solutions that enable our customers to solve business problems and maximize their return on investment.
Solution Architect Responsibilities This individual will be responsible for the translation of our customer's Service Assurance requirements across physical and virtual network topologies into specific product or service solutions.
They must be able to identify, analyze, and resolve system design issues up front.
This individual will need to establish a collaborative process to identify and document business needs to operate and grow successfully in a Micro-services virtualized service assurance environment.
This also includes the deployment of micro-services along with owning the implementation aspects of Micro-services, and regulating DevOps deliverables, including translating requirements into Sprints, Epics, and Stories within a clients development system.
Solution Architects applying for this position should have a strong combination of virtual software, Micro-services and technical architecture knowledge, business/ROI value realization, and presentation skills.
Key Responsibilities Identify and capture customer requirements and identify new sales opportunities Work with clients to enter stories and align sprints for solution rollout Integrate within multiple client organizations to establish virtual service assurance infrastructure planning across telecom operations groups Establish, integrate and automate architecture blueprint designs around virtual infrastructure and DevOps.
Work in an agile environment Participate/Lead in design discussions & client meetings Foster relationships and collaboration with customers to establish our client's leadership in meeting complex customer service assurance requirements, using virtualized, Micro-services based solutions Support the business through collaboration with product management on proposals, statement of work and other key documentation Work closely with clients and internal teams to define, analyze, and design appropriate business and technical solutions to meet the customer's business and financial objectives Work closely with clients, partners, other architects and project managers to deliver scalable, re-usable, and well-documented solutions Provide input on roadmap deliverables to the product management team.
Position will require 75% business travel to client locations Solution Architect Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in technical focus or in data and telecommunications.
Master's degree with a technology focus is a plus Minimum of 5 years of experience in telecommunications support systems design or deployment Minimum of 3 years experience designing or implementing telecommunication support solutions using micro-services Diverse knowledge with Micro-services systems and architectures Extensive hands-on DevOps experience, Containers/Dockers, Continuous Integration and delivery Strong Agile development process experience Extensive experience working with Tier 1 and 2 carriers and MSO's implementing large scale service assurance solutions Strong networking background, specifically in carrier networks and services Knowledge of java, javascript, jquery, RESTful, JSON and related technologies Protocols and Standards:
Ethernet, SDN Technologies and Principles, OSPF, BGP, RTP, RTCP, Netconf-Yang Networking:
WAN, LAN, MAN, Data Center Software:
