DLP Security Engineer
Position can sit in one of the following 3 locations with our client:
Charlotte, NC, Iselin, NJ or Broomfield, CO Our direct financial client is currently hiring for a Security Engineer to perform various enterprise security solutions, primarily Symantec DLP, Symantec Endpoint Protection, BlueCoat proxy, best security practice, and stable operation while enhancing existing solutions.
Candidates will also be responsible for partnering with security architecture on implementing and improving security solutions and will measure and report key performance indicators for responsible solutions including effectiveness of control activities, uptime, and enhancement demand Required Skills:
Minimum 5 years information security experience.
Minimum 3 years security engineering experience.
Experience with designing and deploying Symantec DLP infrastructure, creating Symantec DLP policies and overall management and troubleshooting of the Symantec DLP environment.
Experience with CASB (Cloud Access Security Broker), Proxy and Email infrastructure.
Experience with Python or Perl or Unix Shell scripting.
Experience with large, modern technology environments, their challenges, common approaches to overcome their challenges, and their inherent security strengths and weaknesses Experience with and knowledge of administering enterprise Operating Systems (e.
g.
, Windows, RHEL, etc.
) Ability to work on weekend and off hours.

(Preferred not required) Experience with virtualization technologies (e.

, VMware, Hyper-V, etc.
) (desired) Experience with Network and Firewall administering and deploying endpoint agents.
