Full time Network Security Focused Firewalls and Load Balancer troubleshooting experience
Responsibilities:
The responsibilities for this position are as follows:
Coordinate and execute security tasks related to Innovation and Technology projects.
Configure and install security infrastructure to include scheduling and attendance of after hour's maintenance windows.
Produce Information Security architectures and documentation.
Assist the Information Security Supervisor in the maintenance and monitoring of the information security infrastructure.
Provide support in response to information security incidents.
Track project-related tasks in project timesheet.
Manage remediation plans for any gaps reported in audits or recommended process improvements.
Collaborate with all departments to manage security vulnerabilities or investigations.
Conduct security research in keeping abreast of latest security issues.
Must be able to work efficiently, expeditiously and independently with limited supervision.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum
Qualifications:
5
years of expertise in configuring, installing and maintaining Checkpoint, F5 and Palo Alto firewalls.
5
years of expertise in advanced networking and security technologies.
Strong communication skills are required.
Education and
Experience:
Associates degree in a directly related field with 5 years' experience.
Baccalaureate degree in a directly related field with 4 years' experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Eligibility for Federal security clearance is required, existing clearance preferred.
Extensive experience with Checkpoint, Palo Alto and Cisco products.
Extensive OS experience with Windows, Linux and BSD.
Working knowledge of information security tools such as Nmap, Saint, and Nessus.
