Senior Category Manager, Chain Accounts or Food Lion

Overview
Accountable for leadership of assigned chain-specific analysis as needed to formulate selling stories in support of CCBCC Marketing Strategies. Strong lens to competition, the channel and shopper. Provides trends and insights that ultimately formulate the joint business planning for those customers.
Responsibilities
Serve as primary lead for the development and reporting of category performance trends and / scorecards in key chains.
Collaborate across disciplines and departments to develop information based presentations to assist with solving critical business issues to identify opportunities and provide solutions/recommendations for mutlitple audiences including retailers, marketing, senior leadership, sales teams and Revenue Growth Managament.
Assess market, category conditions, shopper behavior and recommend strategies to meet and exceed company and retailer performance objectives
Manage day to day activities of direct reports and their project work along with coaching/mentoring to foster continued growth and learning.
Collaborate with other key players in the bottling system for key data sources such as Nielsen, dunnhumby, iSHOP, BEV360, etc.
Assist in design and implementation of primary research studies and testing of brand/package/price tests within customers.
Requirements
5
years of Category Management experience with a CPG company and leading direct reports
Sydicated data, shopper card data
Strong presentation skills; specifically, experience presenting to retailers
Experience with database software (Ex: Nielsen)
Microsoft Office Suite
