Description: The Vendor Services Team focuses efforts on: supplier adoption of electronic programs and supporting external and internal departments with all vendor programs. The goal is to simplify the payment process, provide better control, and improve the speed of payment receipt by providing and end-to-end automated solution.
Vendor enrollment is a service related to our payments products that converts our clients' vendors from manual check payments to electronic payments. This position includes achieving assigned quotas for the number of vendor profiles successfully processed on a daily basis. This person will be calling on accounts receivable departments for our clients, asking questions regarding vendor capabilities, and meticulously documenting responses so that AvidXchange can process transactions appropriately on behalf of our clients.
Responsibilities/Tasks will include:
Qualify and enroll suppliers in automation services through outbound cold calling
Listen and addresses the concerns of suppliers to support them through value driven education.
Meet or exceed daily communication objectives
Actively input and maintain vendor data in Excel spreadsheet(s) and our CRM
Ensure information is submitted within the given daily deadline
Provide a great adoption experience for suppliers
Recommend process enhancements to improve business practices
Support the efforts of the vendor enrollment activities within AvidXchange
Professionally represent AvidXchange and its offerings by creating supplier excitement
Support a team environment by sharing best practices, maintaining a winning mindset, and embracing values based culture with a great place to work.
Qualifications:
High school diploma required
1-2
years customer service, sales or accounting experience is preferred
Self-motivated and self-disciplined with a dedicated work ethic
Detail oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Strong proficiency in the use of computer software programs including Microsoft Excel and Outlook are essential; experience with Salesforce.com preferred
Strong relationship building and customer service skills
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding assigned targets, other quotas or goals

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
