SUMMARY


Support teams with materials, technical support & leadership to create a safe, productive & profitable environment. Plan and facilitate work of assigned employees to support on-time completion of production schedules.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Support teams as required.


  • Maintain a positive working attitude and environment.


  • Ensure that policies, procedures, and bargaining unit agreement requirements are satisfied.


  • Implement and sustain 6S in work areas.


  • Willingness to accept and delegate authority.


  • Accurately maintain company records and documents in accordance with policies and procedures.


  • Focus on product quality and process control.


  • Interview, appraise and discipline employees. Acknowledge team accomplishments.


  • Work directly with Customer Support Reps and Material Support personnel to facilitate service issues.


  • Manage the shop service, reconditioning and mobile service programs


  • Report and respond to product and process nonconformance issues.


  • Implement effective corrective actions utilizing structured planning methods.


  • Point of contact for all safety issues:
    investigate accidents, apply solutions, etc.


  • Monitor and manage budgets, costs, and overtime.


  • Communicate directly with customers on site and through phone and e-mail .


  • Implement & support the Continuous Improvement Plan. Coach employees within the plan.


  • Participate in the resolution of grievances.


  • Champion process improvements & lead Kaizen events.


  • Work directly with JLG Warranty and District Service Managers to resolve issues.


  • Must be willing to complete additional advanced training/education courses as required.


  • Other Duties as assigned



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • Six plus years of related work experience


    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor's degree in a related field


  • Team Coordinator Assessment


  • Lean/Six Sigma or Project Management certifications


  • Experience with Lotus Notes E-mail & JDE is recommended and will be required within three months in this position


  • Must complete Team and Continuous Improvement Training

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
