Trade Marketing Analyst - Temporary Assignment

The role is a full-time, temporary position (6-12 months) based in Charlotte, NC and will help support the companys effort to achieve efficiency in trade management. This role will use a fact-based approach to drive highly effective forecasting & optimization of trade marketing funds.
Essential Job Duties
Reporting to the Revenue Growth Management Lead for Direct Divisions, your responsibilities include:
Working with field sales leadership to collect and process account-level sales & trade plans
Working side by side with Finance and Revenue Growth Management to aggregate, update and effectively forecast promotion trade budgets on a period basis
Supporting the communication of company processes and procedures for trade promotion management
Assisting with pre/post performance analysis
Creating and maintaining customer-level trade reporting and KPIs from multiple internal finance reporting systems in a concise, easily digestible format
Assisting with the annual trade planning process for the upcoming year
Performing other duties, as required, to support increased transparency and efficiency of the Direct Divisions trade spend and optimization efforts

Required Education and Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following
Qualifications:
5
years relevant experience, preferably in consumer goods industry
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Advanced working knowledge of Visual Basic/macros and excel formulas
Ability to develop functional templates, build and maintain macro codes
Ability to create effective communications from complex data
Preferred Knowledge and Skill Requirements
The following experiences are preferred
Advanced modeling, database creation and/or working knowledge of statistics
Experience in consumer goods and/or industry, category management, sales management and/or trade funds management
Understanding of go-to-market business model for multiple classes of trade
Financial acumen is a plus
