(Remote Opportunity) Lumen Legal is working with a Fortune 500 financial services company who is looking for an attorney to handle overflow work on a remote basis. Ideal candidates will have 10
years of recent and in-house banking experience specifically dealing with: real estate, mortgage lending (residential) including relevant state and federal regulations (CFPB experience with focus on the mortgage-servicing requirements and SCRA), retail mortgage products, mortgage default servicing, foreclosures, mortgage collections, bankruptcy, short sales, loan modifications, home equities. Candidates should also have experience in locating, vetting, overseeing local foreclosure counsel, third-party due diligence & vendor oversight.
Assignment will be approximately 30-35 hours and be long-term (approximately 1 year). Preference will be given to those with recent experience and in-house backgrounds. Only candidates with the above experience will be contacted.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
