Job Summary
CHS is seeking an exemplary candidate to join the Information Services - Canopy Advanced Support Team (CAST Team) for a Team Lead position
.
Canopy Advanced Support Team (CAST) is comprised of a high performance team of support analysts that provide quality customer relationship management and support to the providers and clinicians at CHS on all information systems. The Team Lead for CAST overall responsibilities includes leadership for the on-site acute care facility team members. They will be responsible for supervision and operational duties including hiring, performance reviews and evaluations, staff counseling for the assigned team members.
Essential Functions
- Develops and updates associated documentation. Guarantees efficient and effective completion of assignments.
- Responsible for staff scheduling to ensure appropriate staffing to meet clinical end user needs and to meet agreed upon service levels and coverage hours
- Performs rounding at each facility on a regular basis and schedules routine touch points with facility leadership
- Development and implementation of effective procedures ensuring continuous process improvement
- Assist in the strategic planning for clinical systems and incorporating departmental goals and objectives
- Customer relationship management experience a plus
- Maintains regular communication with specific segments of the clinical leadership team, as well as the application and technical support teams to ensure the highest quality of service to clinical customers
- Familiar with physicianand clinical workflows in ambulatory, inpatient and/or ED settings as they will perform in a support role as a float at all acute facilities in the event of an on-site CAST member absence or vacancy.
- Will be able to develop and monitor service logs, facility reports and productivity reports necessary to manage and report on quality of service and productivity of the team members.
- Monitors and maintains team members meeting their personal and departmental goals
- Will serve as escalation point and address concerns relating to team issues and priorities and will work to ensure achievement of seamless and transparent resolution to customer incidents
- Provides after hours on-call support coverage for providers through a rotation with the team
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift objects that weigh up to 35 pounds. Work environment is subject to high-level visibility through verbal and written communications with senior hospital management, associated project deadlines, personnel evaluation, and counseling. Must be available for on-call support on a regular basis. Due to project requirements, overtime will be required, as needed. Each employee has the responsibility to work in a safe manner.
Education, Experience and Certifications
High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelors Degree preferred. Formal training in a variety of Information Systems technology is desirable. Healthcare Industry background is strongly preferred.Previous supervisory or management experience preferred, Cerner PowerChart/Millennium technical experience preferred; and a 4 year degree preferred or relevant clinical or information services experience
preferred.
