Position Description
Responsible for reviewing written and verbal business forms requirements; developing forms related components in either Oracle DocuMaker or Adobe LiveCycle (across platforms: client server, web, and mainframe); conducting comprehensive unit testing; prepare written documentation related to test results and / or any changes to the Forms COE process.
Supports any issues detected during Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases of the project (this includes analysis of issues; modification of the related forms components; unit testing, and communicating the issue resolution.)
Provides 24 x 7 production support including remote access
Communicates and works effectively with IT Project Management, the Business, QA and UAT, and other Application teams to ensure the delivery of a high quality software application.
Position Requirements
Graduate degree preferred; Computer Science or Mathematics Degree a plus.
Experience with forms development and forms related processes
Note: We are planning on offering specific on the job technical training in the Oracle and Adobe products so the job candidate does not necessarily require the specific technical skills listed below but should have experience writing software code in one or two languages, and conducting detail unit testing of the code
Technical pluses are working knowledge of:
Windows and Web environments
Oracle DocuMaker form development tools
Oracle Internet Document Server (IDS)
Oracle DocuMaker Enterprise Edition
Mainframe batch print (JCL, Proc, Parms), and transmission (e.g. FTP) jobs
IBM DB2 tables
Form Image Archiving
PDFs and batch printing tools (e.g. HP Extreme Dialogue)
Adobe Pro Features and Compare Tool
Adobe LiveCycle Designer and from development tools
Prior insurance or financial industry experience is a plus
