Position Overview
The .Net/Web Developer is part of our Mortgage Technology group that designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications and components. The .Net/Web Developer will support software applications and components.
Working Relationships
The .Net/Web Developer must develop strong working relationships with all operational business groups, peers, business unit leaders and senior management including Information Technology.

Key Tasks and
Responsibilities:
Design, code and test software application to adhere to design and business requirements and rules supporting RMC's business and borrowers.
Utilize established development tools/guidelines such as Visual Studio, ASP.NET, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C#/VB.NET.
Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for modification and improvement.
Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects.
Investigate and develop skills in new technologies.
Create technical specifications and test plans.
Consult colleagues concerning maintenance and performance of software systems.
Serves as liaison or technical resource for others or other business partners.
Maintain and prioritize multiple projects with minimal supervision.
Participate in core teams for various projects that are managed by others.
Facilitate and coordinate software application deployments when needed.

Minimum Requirements:
Ability to process computer data and to format and generate reports
Must be able to maintain planning and organization across multiple projects.
Experience in performing and evaluating functional, integration, regression, and system testing.
Ability to implement and troubleshoot programming changes and modifications
Ability to write technical instructions in the use of programs and/or program modifications
Ability to quickly learn and support new systems and applications
Interacts well with others within departments and communicates thoughts and ideas effectively.
Ability to manage projects, this includes interaction with internal/external customers


.Net/Web Developer

Troubleshoot technical problems with an application, web service, or related database
Able to work from written specifications and guidelines to perform functions and document process flow
Must be self-motivated and capable of working independently.
Must be flexible enough to react to immediate challenges by refocusing resources to accomplish an immediate priority.
Must have the ability to work accurately and efficiently under intense time pressure.
Training and
Experience:
BA/BS degree in related field preferred or equivalent experience required.
5
years' experience in field of Information Technology and.
Advanced knowledge of Visual Basic language
.NET, particularly Microsoft Azure
JAVA
Web services and APIs
Agile practices
Design patterns
Previous mortgage banking experience, a plus
Knowledge of Ellie Mae's Encompass 360, a plus
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
