Summary:

Responsible for assisting the lead teacher in providing a warm, safe and nurturing learning experience while communicating the goals, guidelines, and standards of the center.
Qualifications:
Education
: High School Diploma required. Six additional semester hours in child development / early childhood education required.
Experience
: Two years early childhood work experience required.
Licensure/certification/registration:
Working state Child Care Credentials I and II required. Working state CDL License preferred.
Additional skills required:
ITS SIDS for teachers who work in classrooms with children ages two and under must be obtained within four months of hire. First Aid, CPR and Playground Safety certification required. BSAC required for those working with school age children. Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
