Job Description:
We are working with a large, Fortune 500 financial/banking institution client which needs a temporary (6 months) Marketing Project Manager to support the banks Segment Marketing team and lead marketing efforts. (Segment Marketing leads marketing campaign strategy development -- including customer insights, competitive positioning and program measurement. This team works closely with Channel Marketing teams who lead development and execution of channel specific elements.)
About the Role: This financial services / banking client has developed a new rewards program for preferred clients, which was successfully piloted and will be rolling out nationally this year. This banking rewards program provides clients with real banking benefits and rewards on their existing investments accounts. The Project Manager will help facilitate the assessment of resources, budget and deployment plan to integrate the new value proposition into existing product marketing.
Daily
Responsibilities:
Develop and manage the work plan, action items.
Meet with and help facilitate the assessments across the segment marketing and channel marketing teams.
Address questions and issues, escalate open items when appropriate.
Lead meetings with marketing partners.
Provide updates to the project sponsor and channel marketing leads.
Compile the information into a single document to be presented to senior marketing leadership.
Required:
Bachelors degree required business, marketing degree preferred

years of strong marketing project management experience
Excellent communications skills, verbal and written
Proficiency in Microsoft software: Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel
Demonstrated ability to influence and drive the work plan with marketing partners
Ability to multitask and prioritize
Desired:
Knowledge of multi-channel marketing a plus

Our client is one of the country's largest banking and financial lending companies. This is a long-term, 6-month contract position. Candidates must be able to work onsite in Charlotte, NC during normal business hours Monday through Friday.
