HR Administrative Assistant - Position Purpose
Coordinate the administration, enrollment and communication of and adherence to procedures relative to employee benefits. Facilitate the administration of safety activities and Workers' Compensation case management.This position will consist of heavy filing
Specific Job Knowledge:
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate the he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skill and abilities.
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process
Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written
Must possess basic computational ability
Must possess basic computer skillsJob Description:
Ability to prepare and analyze data figures and transcriptions prepared on and generated by computer
Working knowledge of federal, state and local laws governing equal employment opportunity and civil rights, occupational safety and health, workers compensation, wage and hour issues, and labor relations, including but not limited to the following statutes and their comparable state and local laws (where applicable): Title VII, ADEA, Equal Pay Act, Pregnancy Discrimination Act, FLSA, ADA, OSHA, FMLA, ERISA, and NLRA.Qualifications:
Education high school or equivalent education required. Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience One to two years' experience in Human Resources related positions. Prior hotel experience preferred.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
