The candidate will join a team of attorneys responsible for providing legal support in connection with government and institutional and corporate credit transactions, and related activities. Primary responsibility will be to provide coverage for the government and institutional banking and corporate banking businesses. J.D. degree and State Bar membership are required. Must have 5
years of experience as a practicing attorney with a major law firm, securities regulatory agency or in-house law department, including 3
years representing firms in capital markets and investment banking activities. Should have both government and institutional and corporate credit experience. Must have demonstrated ability to provide counsel and guidance on, complex legal issues, relating primarily to government and institutional credit transactions (including direct bond purchases) and/or corporate syndicated lending transactions (with significant experience representing left lead agents and arrangers). Should have ability to analyze questions of law in substantive areas of practice, provide effective advice to clients on routine legal matters. Experience in providing legal support to a significant US bank is preferred. Familiarity with banking and municipal finance rules and regulations is desired.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
