Essential Job Functions:
As a project engineer supporting the Design Change & Configuration Management (DCCM) team, the candidate will be responsible for managing and tracking component and assembly configurations, document workflow for design changes from engineering, and information from suppliers. The role of a project engineer will require the candidate to be organized, possess excellent communication skills, adapt to a team environment, and have excellent data management skills. As part of a QuEST team the candidate will use a combination of team and individual skills to provide excellent service to the customers:
Validating and maintaining Engineering Changes
Updating Build of Material (BOM) for Engineered Systems.
Daily tracking of workflow documents within Enterprise Resource Planning tools such as SAP
Daily updating spreadsheets pertaining to design tasks
Spreadsheet creation and maintenance for metrics reporting
Reporting weekly and monthly metrics for certain engine programs
Process mapping
Create and revise configuration files

Qualifications
Vocational certificate in an engineering discipline, manufacturing, or equivalent experience.
Proficient with Microsoft software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
Ability to learn new software is required.
The candidate must have the ability to work well with others in a team setting, but also be able to learn take on new tasks on their own.
Ability to read blueprints/mechanical drawings desired
Desired knowledge of Quality Management Systems metrics and standards
Location: Charlotte, NC
Travel: 0-5%
Compensation Type: Hourly
Status: Full Time RegularEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
