This is our direct-client opening for an Senior Application Developer (Foreign Exchange & Derivatives) located in Charlotte, NC. This is a full-time position with a salary range of 130-150K + Bonus and Benefits. Our client will only consider local candidates or candidates who can relocate at his/her own expense, and only US Citizens, Green Card Holders, and TN Visa Holders can apply since our client cannot transfer or sponsor new visas for this position.
Our client is seeking a Senior Application Developer (Foreign Exchange & Derivatives) with design and development experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Performs and/or leads the technical design and development of complex application systems using existing and emerging technology platforms.
May participate in some application architecture functions. Estimates and defines time tables and project tasks; analyzes and estimates cost and time. Leads change impact analysis.
Creates and may review unit and test plans. Identifies opportunities to improve testing process.
Performs and/or leads design, coding, testing, implementation, and documentation of solution.
Develops basic and detailed program specifications. Ensures that expected application performance levels are achieved.
Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents, maintains, and modifies computer programs of high complexity, significance, and risk.
Leads technical staff and clients to investigate, analyze, and resolve complex technical problems. Identifies and manages interfaces, service levels, standards, and configurations.
Conducts analysis of organizational needs for the development and implementation of application systems.
Monitors operating efficiency of existing application systems. Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement and recommends technical solutions.
Demonstrates good understanding of the business needs driving the projects.
This position will be responsible for the development of the strategic Derivatives Trading Platform for the Foreign Exchange business. The position will perform and/or leads design, coding, testing, implementation, and documentation of solutions aiding in superior Risk Management for FX.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
At least 7 years experience with developing and implementing applications.
Expert of Java (1.6 or above)
Enterprise application development with strong concurrency skills
Proficient in Spring
Database Server - Oracle or Sybase or MS SQL Servers
Expert of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), demonstrated experience with client and server side Web Services development using JAX-WS, CXF or SOAP stacks
Solid experience using Quality Center, Maven/SVN, CVS/ANT or similar version control and build systems
Solid experience working with Websphere or Weblogic or JBOSS servers
Solid scripting experience for Windows or Unix/Linux
Proficient working on XML, XSLT and other XML languages
Proven communication skills, team player
Track record of on-time delivery and resolving technical challenges
Preferred Qualifications:
Domain knowledge of foreign exchange derivative products. Familiar with option pricing, position and risk management, confirmations and accounting.
Experience in Calypso (version 11 and up):
System install or upgrade, users and groups permissions, workflow setup, market data management
Experience with different Calypso modules (Calypso Workstation, Pricing Sheet, Scheduled Tasks, Trade Blotter, Calculation and Presentation Servers).
Risk Analysis and Reports (PnL, Vega, Sensitivity, Scenarios, Forward Ladder, Ad-hoc Reports).
Working knowledge of Calypso FXOption, NDO/NDF, Option Strips or Bundles
Candidate must have extensive Calypso experience and knowledge of FX.
Also, the ideal candidate has worked for these companies: Wells Fargo or Bank of America

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
