We are conducting a targeted search for an NERC, CIP, SCADA Security Analyst (Cisco, CISSP preferred) to work for our Energy client Charlotte, NC.
Length of W-2 Contract Assignment: 8
month initial, renewable assignment
Locations: Charlotte, NC
Travel: None
Pay Rate: $46.00 maximum/Hour W-2 Depending on Experience and Requirements Matched. (Straight W-2, no relocation assistance or expense reimbursement, no benefits)
Corp-Corp Rate: No Corp-Corp, No Third Party, Client does not support H1B or EAD
Work Authorization Required: US Citizen, Green Card Holder, those Authorised to work in the US

Qualification Requirements:
CISSP desired but not required.
This position will require the Candidate to be well rounded in IT security and compliance in a complex and layered environment and possess the ability to quickly assess and take ownership of a situation with a commitment to work until a proper resolution is found.
(Not seeking candidates with a focus on security compliance administration; need to be technical.)
3-5 years of hands on experience with IT Security, NERC, CIP, SCADA systems
High School Diploma/GED or applicable certification or equivalent Work Experience (3-5 years)
Exposure to and worked with: tools include: Shavlik Configure, Tripwire Enterprise/Log Center, NMAP, Tenable Security Center, Netstat
Job Description:
NERC CIP and SCADA systems technical security and complicance support within the EMPCS organization supporting Power Delivery. NERC CIP and SCADA system compliance.
Primary responsibilities include:
Review of and response to output from security and compliance tracking tools in a controls system environment; tools include: Shavlik Configure, Tripwire Enterprise/Log Center, NMAP, Tenable Security Center, Netstat.
Development of documentation used as evidence of security compliance.
Provide best practice security and compliance guidance for EMPCS supported projects.

All Qualified Candidates must be willing to work W-2 and take/pass a drug test and take/pass an employment verification and criminal background check, per our client?s human resources policy

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
