As an Interactive Designer on the Customer Experience group project, you will help shape the customer experience strategy by leading project teams and managing customer experience activities for the Online Banking platform. This contract position is located in Charlotte, NC.
Act as a key player in the strategic design process of projects, assuming responsibility for the overall Customer Experience strategy and execution
Collaborate with program, product, and project managers to gather requirements and integrate business objectives with customer needs
Collaborate or lead team of interactive designers, information architects, content strategists, visual designers and researchers to define the customer experience
Determine and recommend user-centered Customer Experience tasks, tools, deliverables, and milestones
Develop scenarios, navigational structures, sitemaps, user flows, screen designs, interaction models, functional templates and prototypes
Represent the main point of contact with clients and partners, escalating and resolving issues as necessary for both projects and larger platform initiatives
Ensure that solutions follow internal standards as well as industry best practices
Experience with interactive product design, design planning, and/or strategic consulting for Fortune 500 companies or large e-commerce sites
Bachelor's degree in HCI or equivalent experience with user centered design methods including task analysis and user scenarios
Proven track record for managing complex projects within larger organizations with a mature user centered design methodology
Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, facilitation, presentation, and engagement management skills
An understanding of HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript
Banking or financial services background strongly preferred but not necessary.
Additional Project Details:
Will need to work in OmniGraffle platform or something similar.
Will need to work in iRise platform.
Attention to production-level detail required - there is a ton of data that have to make it into the experience and it must be right in the simulation(s).
A go-with-the-flow attitude as we may have changing priorities from day to day.
Design with a mindset of standards & guidelines - these designs will be consumed by others in the future.
Portfolio requirements:
Candidate should be prepared to show design samples and interim deliverables including but not limited to: design briefs, strategy recommendations, sitemaps, task flows, detailed wireframes, interaction flows, mockups, simulations, annotated screen specifications, etc.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
