This
position
will be responsible for developing and executing detailed Lean activity and improvement plans in support of various Process Improvement projects. The candidate will work closely with various project leads to develop specific improvement plans by applying DAMIC principle. The candidate will be responsible to scope the event, including action plans for all necessary pre-work (data gathering and assessment), facilitate the event, and oversee the execution of the actions as management implements the process improvements. This position will document activities, monitor action items, communicate progress of projects and support management to communicate results.
Candidate should have an in-depth understanding of LEAN/Six Sigma and must be able to prioritize, handle and track multiple assignments, exhibit strong business skills and financial savvy, have proven and successful track record on coordinating with multiple departments, build and maintain relationships with company executives, peers and individual contributors. Candidate needs to possess excellent communication skills with the ability to develop and facilitate cross functional/organizational teams to develop effective solutions.
Basic
Qualifications:
? Education: Bachelors Degree or a combination of education plus equivalent work experience and 10 or more years as a practicing Lean Six Sigma Leader.
? Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification is required.
? Experience in the utility industry with focus on Transmission/Distribution and process improvement is preferred.
? Capable of assisting project teams with identifying inefficiencies, waste, cost, etc. (metrics) with their current processes.
