Requirements of the Software Engineer:
Client is interested in people who are either C# or Java. If C#, would like to see ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, WCF and ADO.NET. In addition to C# or Java, would like to see:
Web API
HTML 5 and CSS 3
Experience using JavaScript, including jQuery, AngularJS, and other JavaScript frameworks
Experience using PHP plus
Experience with Test Driven Development and testing frameworks
Prior experience working in an Agile environment
Experience with databases/SQL
Continuous integration environment experience a plus
Experience with distributed source control, e.g., Git a plus
Experience working with remote teams a plus
There are two Software Engineer positions available. Everyone starts out as a developer for customer implementations to become familiar with the product. There can be some travel for that. In the estimated 10 weeks you might spent 3 - 5 days at a customer site. Once done with implementations, will work on product development.
Client is open to people of varying levels, from right out of school to more senior. If right out of school a school transcript will be required. Target salary range is between $40,000 and $100,000, depending upon experience.
Client is open to direct hire or contract-to-hire, whatever is needed to get the right people. The Software Engineers will be based at the client site in Charlotte, NC. Local candidates are strongly preferred, but some limited relocation assistance may be available. No sponsorship available.
