Requirements Analyst (GIS) Job Requirements Analyst (GIS) needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Charlotte, NC. The Big Picture - Top Skills You Should Possess: - Creation of Requirement Traceability Matrix experience - Elicit requirements for new business processes What You'll Be Doing: - The contractor will serve in a requirements analyst role for IT Projects in support of the Energy Delivery business functions. - Working with stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for new business processes and changes to existing business processes and systems; bridges the gap - translating between business needs and solutions. - Ensuring business processes and requirements are documented and understood across the project team. - Facilitates workshops, conducts interviews, develops use cases, etc. - Creates the current and future business process flow diagrams - Ensures that the percentage of defects found in production is minimized by assisting the test analyst design test cases from a business perspective as well as technical aspects as needed. - Create Requirement Traceability Matrix ensuring all requirements are traceable throughout project life cycle. - May assist with execution of test scripts. What You Need to Bring to the Table: - Strong facilitation skills for conducting workshops, conducting interviews, organizing and leading meetings. - Ability to interpret, document and organize business requirements, technical requirements, and business process flows. - Ability to develop use cases to feed into designs and test cases. - Experienced with creating a traceability Matrix between business requirements. - Strong skills in MS Office - Self starter Bonus Points! Qualifications: - GIS EXPERIENCE HIGHLY PREFERRED - Experienced in using the Enterprise Architect software tool for documenting requirements, business modelling, use cases, etc. - Experienced in HP Quality Center tool for script execution and defect management. - Experience with Accenture's project delivery methodology. - Electric utility experience.
