Our client, a Top 250 AM Law Firm, has an immediate opening for an experienced Litigation Support Specialist in the firm's Charlotte, NC office. The Litigation Support Specialist provides technical support to attorneys and paralegals by using automated litigation and practice group support systems and applications; loading images, text and OCR files into Summation; troubleshooting litigation support applications; loading files into Trial Director; assisting with the installation, setup and break down of courtroom equipment; maintaining project status reports; providing assistance with project management to include selection of vendors; designing and creation of forms and reports; providing ongoing advice on best practices for case management; and creating and updating reference guides.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years experience in automated litigation and support systems and case management.
Expertise with Summation iBlaze, Trial Director, Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint and CaseMap products.
Detailed knowledge of the processes of litigation with emphasis on trial procedures, discovery, document production, document management, coding and scanning procedures and use.
Experience with Citrix environments a plus.
Strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to interact with users of varying skill levels.
Ability to work flexible/extended hours and travel.
Excellent writing, oral communication and presentation skills.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
