This position is responsible for leading the General Accounting and Financial Reporting functions based in Charlotte, NC for this $10B
organization. Leading a team of 6 professionals, this position's responsibilities include:
Consolidating, analyzing and reporting the financial results of the Central finance departments based in Charlotte
Fringe benefit accounting
Intercompany accounting process
Risk & Insurance costs
Support of the SAP finance module
Recording and reviewing all accounting entries related to corporate office charges
Reviewing and approving account reconciliations
Special projects/requests
This position interfaces with finance leads at the majority of the business units, as well as with upper management within the controllers, legal, and IT, departments.
Education: Bachelor's degree with a concentration in accounting or finance
Experience: 8
years experience in the field of accounting/finance, CPA preferredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
