Job Description
We have an immediate need for strong Microsoft BI Developers with experience in BIDS, SSAS (SQL Server Analysis
services
), SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services), MDX and DAX. This position requires you to have the interest and ability to work across the BI Stack. Your involvement could be with developing complex cubes, integrating data, developing complex reports or all of the above.
Qualifications
5
years experience developing BI solutions on the Microsoft SQL Server platform.
5
years relevant experience with data centric projects such as data warehouses, data marts, relational and dimensional models, analytics and reporting.
Understanding of Kimball methodologies.
Experience in handling large datasets and the ability to manage and gather requirements for a data warehouse
At least 3
years experience in 2 of the 3 following areas:
Experience modeling and designing multi-dimensional databases, OLAP cubes, and Star Schemas
Experience implementing data ETL strategies using SQL Server Integration Services
Experience deploying reporting tools such as Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services
Experience should also include delivering OLAP data to end users (e.g. Excel, ProClarity, Panorama or Microsoft Business Scorecard Manager and knowledge of MDX)
Additional Requirements
Experience working collaboratively with both business and technical team members.
Ability to both help design and propose solutions that solve business problems.
Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task between projects.
Excellent organization and customer service skills.
Communicate effectively and efficiently at all levels both verbally and in writing.
Ability to travel up to 20%.
