Managing Director, Client Services & Technology Controls Delivery Leader

CS&T Controls Delivery Leader The Client Services & Technology (CS&T) Controls Delivery Leader is responsible for monitoring risk and delivery of control enhancements to existing client services and technology programs.
This role requires strategic focus to mobilize, create and manage the next generation of technology and operational controls and governance to enable the ongoing transformation of our business.
This leader will create the right structure and processes to ensure effective CS&T processes, controls, and needed remediation.
Key Responsibilities and DutiesLead a team of CS&T Risk Program Management, Delivery and Governance professionals focused on implementing and improving the control environment across client services, cyber, cloud, infrastructure, application development/support and dataInteract and develop relationships with regulators as needed and maintain a working knowledge of appropriate Federal and State laws and regulationsBuild and foster relationships with all levels of leadership to effectively manage delivery and execution of the control environment within CS&T, with a large focus on technology related risks and control programsInfluence, collaborate and drive decisions between first, second and third lines of defense to develop and implement the control framework for CS&T risk management standards and practicesLead an organization that improves CS&T processes and remediates control deficienciesDevelop and drive IT risk programs to effectively identify, evaluate and remediate technology programs and processesDesign programs and frameworks to ensure IT control gaps and risk events are properly addressed, documented and reported.
Chair the 1st line Technology Risk Leadership Committee (TRLC), and partner across various teams to effectively support CS&T s efforts across multiple risk and governance forums (e.
g.
, Operational Risk Management Committee, CS&T Risk Management Committee, Enterprise Risk Management Committee, etc.
)Proactively communicate program and execution status and provide transparency to key stakeholders, including the CS&T Executive team and second and third line risk partners.
Work with the Business Controls Office to develop appropriate metrics and Key Risk Indicators (KRI) to ensure control adequacy, quality and efficacy for client services and technologyEducational RequirementsUniversity (Degree) PreferredWork Experience10

This role requires significant experience and proven success in running client services and technology risk program and execution management or internal audit at large and complex financial services organizations.
This role requires leadership to navigate a highly matrixed environment and significant ambiguity with the ability to focus on solutions and outcomes through clear decision making, influence and collaboration.
Build a high performing team that partners closely with CS&T executive teams to identify and remediate key control gapsLead a team that is responsible for resolving all audit and self-identified issues as well as proactive issues identified through KRIs Lead a team that drives risk awareness in employees by developing training and education programs to enhance understanding of risk and promote a risk awareness cultureKnowledge & Skills:
Significant experience working closely with client services and technology functions in order to secure information, create and implement strategies, and deploy control programs to mitigate the variety of risks that could threaten the firm Financial services and/or regulatory compliance experience leading technology risk related efforts and/or regulatory compliance efforts specific to technologyStrong knowledge and understanding of technology related risk areas and control programs, including demonstrated competence in risks related to cyber, infrastructure, cloud, application development, disaster recovery, and data management and governanceAbility to influence, collaborate and drive decisions through ambiguity with key stakeholders and business leadersPrior track record of building and leading a high performing risk related function for a large financial services organizationStrong ability to interpret and explain complex organization challenges to a range of audiences and build consensus among stakeholders Deep understanding and experience in assessing risk in each component of a large complex enterpriseWorking knowledge of emerging risks and business practices as well as disruptive and digital business modelsDemonstrated leadership capability, including knowledge of process review improvement techniques and the ability to lead through changeAdvanced written, oral, interpersonal and negotiating skills with ability to prepare and present technical presentations and guide internal customersEducational Requirements:

$187,500/yr.
- $312,500/yr.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
