You are a legal steward of Charlotte Angels and arepublicly listed on Charlotte Angels' website.
BOARD MEMBER ELIGIBILITY:
Must be passionate about our mission.
Must attend 75% of board meetings.
The Charlotte Angels mission is to walk alongside children, youth, and families in the foster care community by offering consistent support through intentional giving, relationship building, and mentorship.
DescriptionWe provide support to foster families and children in our community.
Over half of foster homes close within the first year due to the lack of support.
Not only do the children experience the initial trauma of being removed from their home, but they then experience another layer of trauma if they are forced to move to another home or homes.
We step in to make sure these homes can stay open, providing stability and consistency.
Without community support, we can't match families with assistance or meet their needs.
Our organization offers two main programs:
Our Love Box program matches a volunteer in the community with a foster family.
Our Dare to Dream mentorship program matches a mentor with a youth in foster who is at risk of aging out of the system.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
