Experience:
INSPYR Solutions is seeking a Junior Data Analyst for one of its premier transportation clients in Charlotte.
As the Tolling Systems Analyst, you will support all matters related to the data generated and transmitted from the Toll Collection System (TCS) and the (ITS) Intelligent Transportation System.
Responsibilities for this role include:
The Tolling Systems Analyst will assist in the day-to-day monitoring and support activities of the TCS and ITS to ensure timely and accurate processing of toll transactions; accurate collection of traffic data; efficient operation of the Control Room, and provide managed lane customers with a predictable and reliable experience.
Provide support on network maintenance activities and supervision of warehouse operations.
The Tolling Systems Analyst also actively participates in implementing and testing systems, documenting results, and records / escalating system performance issues when necessary.
Monitor and report on accurate transaction generation and traffic data at the roadside, timely data transmission, and data validation.
Track and analyze TCS and ITS key performance metrics.
Act as a conduit between the ITS maintenance technical teams and tolling operational teams, including third-party service providers as required.
Ensure clear communication of system issues, workarounds, and resolution.
Identification and documentation of potential exceptions, especially those which may result in customer-facing issues.
Investigate exceptions and prepare briefings to management on issues, impacts, and proposed resolutions.
Oversee analysis of failure trends, spare level forecasting, MTBF, Root cause analysis confirmation for inventory Provide support and analysis of operational issues on back-end processes as they relates to TCS and ITS (minimizing technical support from third-party company) Implement and supervise analysis and procedures necessary to keep the leakage levels within the expected range.
Cooperate with Back Office System (BOS) and Toll Setting Module (TSM) development to define requirements according to business needs.
Skills/ Requirements:
Must be able to demonstrate computer proficiency, especially in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerBI, Visio, and Power Point and other PC-based programs.
Experience working with Oracle BI, Oracle Databases, Postgres SQL, Linux, and R/Python is a plus.
Bachelor's Degree in IT, computer science, or a related field.
