years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following:
work experience, training, military experience, education 10
years of application development and implementation experience 3
years of Google Cloud development experience, including BigQuery and Cloud Composer 3
years of experience with building, deploying and securing cloud platforms 3
years of experience in designing and engineering cloud native solutions 5
years of Python experience 2
years of Agile experience 10
years of experience delivering complex enterprise-wide information technology solutions Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations Desired Skills & Experience Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills A BS/BA degree or higher in science or technology GitHub experience Familiarity with using Eclipse IDE, IntelliJ IDE and Gradle framework What You Will Be Doing Design and build high performing and scalable migration data pipelines for data migration from on-premises to Google Cloud Platform Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for high visibility Google cloud computing initiatives and hybrid environments Use advanced knowledge and experience with current tools (BigQuery, Airflow, GCS, Dataplex, Google Cloud Platform tools) to implement cloud ready data Applications Build and maintain high-quality, high-performance, scalable software Document and demonstrate solutions by writing documentation, diagrams, and code comments Collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Support ongoing data management efforts for Development, QA and Production environments Leverage knowledge of industry trends to build best in class technology to provide competitive advantage Knowledge and understanding of DevOps principles Ability to interact effectively and confidently with senior management Ability to work effectively in an Agile Scrum or Kanban environment Collaborate with other developers to design/develop new software solutions or changes to existing software solutions Lead complex initiatives on selected domains Ensure systems are monitored to increase operational efficiency and managed to mitigate risk Define opportunities to maximize resource utilization and improve processes while reducing cost Lead, design, develop, test and implement applications and system components, tools and utilities, models, simulation, and analytics to manage complex business functions using sophisticated technologies Resolve coding, testing and escalated platform issues of a technically challenging nature Lead team to ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives Mentor less experienced software engineers Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including managers Lead team to achieve objectives Partner with production support and platform engineering teams effectively Recommended Skills Agile Methodology Airflow Business Efficiency Data Analysis Data Management Data Migration Apply to this job.
