Summary:
This role is primarily responsible for the development and implementation of sourcing strategies and events as part of an overall strategic sourcing roadmap.
The Manager, Strategic Sourcing is expected to successfully engage with internal and external stakeholders to develop, deliver, and complete effective category based sourcing events that will facilitate successful lifecycle category management across a diverse real estate portfolio.
Specific Duties:
In particular, you will be responsible for carrying out the following duties specific to your Position:
Developing meaningful category strategies as the basis for sourcing activities that are focused on lifecycle costing, supplier life cycle management while driving operational efficiency and improved service delivery outcomes.
Fostering positive client relationships with JLL and external client stakeholders to ensure that they are engaged and are prepared to collaborate with the sourcing team to support the deployment of strategic initiatives.
Manage strategic and project specific sourcing initiatives from end to end including successfully engaging and managing the involvement of diverse stakeholder groups Conduct complex data analyses involving large data sets in relation to category strategy and sourcing events.
Coordinate with other members of the sourcing and supplier management team to ensure that as appropriate, supplier management processes, supplier performance outcomes and other relevant process and compliance requirements are successfully integrated as part of the sourcing output Serve as a process leader, challenging internal and external stakeholder to ensure they are aligned with key sourcing strategies.
Work to build consensus among diverse team members to support the implementation of best in class strategies Driving vendor management processes to monitor performance, compliance and financial strength in accordance with client requirements and firm policies Spearheading internal process improvements identified through collaborating with suppliers Ensuring supporting documentation is audit ready to meet client's quarterly audit cycle deliverables Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Service Level Agreements (SLA) for strategic suppliers in key categories that are aligned with the stated goals established through category strategies Administer and maintain Supplier contract files to ensure compliancy and all necessary contract documentation requirements Ensure compliance to sourcing and contracting policies and procedures Conduct regular market and spend analysis programs to drive cost savings and supplier improvements Conduct local and regional Supplier Performance review meetings, when requested, and manage supplier scorecards, contract compliance and service obligations.
Build transparency of Supplier spend and key risks related to our suppliers.
Lead reporting of results and opportunities Provide management, detailed instruction and continuous follow-up to support the operations teams in standardized RFP/bid and contract processes.
Be proactive and manage internal and external customer expectations Establish relationship with Corporate Legal and Risk Management to ensure all contractual terms and conditions comply with standard or other contract changes are formally reviewed and approved by legal/risk management Establish contracts with selected service providers in specific markets.
Ensure contracting and procurement standards, policies and procedures are maintained and followed throughout Client account Assist with the execution of strategies and business processes for new supplier evaluation, risk assessment and supplier performance management.
Oversee management of new supplier on boarding including JLL system setups, supplier rollout and transition support Interact with and provide effective reporting to client sourcing and supplier management teams to ensure they are aware of and aligned with progress on all key initiatives Collaborate with the internal supplier management team to support the escalation and resolution of key supplier related issues Manage special projects as requested
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent is required 5
years supply chain experience (purchasing, procurement, sourcing, vendor management) is required Orientation and balance of client service, business process improvement, change management, innovation, and cross-functional thinking is required Experience working with hard and soft services categories, particularly real estate services within Facilities Management and Project Management service lines, is preferred Willingness and ability to be both the strategist and tactician.
Success implementing multiple sourcing strategies and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Proven ability to deliver results in challenging environments.
Sound judgment, initiative, resourcefulness, tenacity and the flexibility to operate independently in a fast-paced, unstructured environment.
Strong leadership skills; the ability to quickly build a working rapport and level of influence Excellent interpersonal and team building skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills, including public speaking.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
