Responsibilities:
Business Requirements Gathering:
Collaborate with stakeholders, including brokers, clients, and internal teams, to gather and document business requirements.
Functional Analysis:
Analyze and translate business requirements into functional specifications, ensuring they align with the portal's goals and objectives.
User Stories and Use Cases:
Create user stories, use cases, and process flows to capture the end-to-end user journey and system interactions.
Feature Prioritization:
Work with stakeholders to prioritize website features, functionalities, and enhancements based on business value and customer needs.
UI/UX Collaboration:
Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure the portal's user interface and user experience meet industry standards and user expectations.
Data Analysis:
Analyze and define data requirements, including data sources, data transformations, and reporting needs for the portal.
Quality Assurance:
Define test cases and collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure the portal's functionality is thoroughly tested and meets quality standards.
Change Management:
Support change management processes to facilitate a smooth transition during portal updates and improvements.
Documentation:
Maintain detailed documentation of business requirements, use cases, and functional specifications.
Stakeholder Communication:
Provide clear and effective communication to stakeholders, ensuring a shared understanding of project progress and outcomes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in web portal or web application projects.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Understanding of the insurance or brokerage industry is a plus.
Skills:
