Remote Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
? Operations/Logistics/Transportation ? Oversee all aspects of the third-party distribution, including inbound and outbound operations, shipping and receiving, inventory control, and warehouse management? Manage, uphold, and create ongoing relationships with all operations teams, distributors, and suppliers? Approve all logistics documentation and requests? Troubleshoot and audit all transportation, logistics, and order entry operations from logistics specialist? Conduct research and stay up-to-date on all plant production, inventory levels, lead times, sales, and pricing trendsCreate a response plan accordingly? Review and approve all cost control reports and cost estimates? Sales ? Ensure that orders are processed accurately and efficiently, and that customer service levels are met or exceeded? Produce accurate sales forecasts and present to management and sales teams with recommendations for operational success? Complete monthly consumption reports? Work closely with all sales reps, customers, and vendors to ensure a seamless order fulfillment process? Exercise and maintain in-depth knowledge of company service and product offerings with clients, vendors, employees? In conjunction with SM, Oversee monthly strategic calendars within sales to establish ideal timing to optimize company opportunities? Interview and build relationships with distributors and/or end user clients to establish needsEnsure sales teams are addressing these customer needs? Finance ? Manage all accounts receivable and payable with Quickbooks? Determine and carry out pricing decisions based on pricing list, customer type, order quantity, and customer relationship? Manage, audit, and administer all provided departmental budgets? Process Improvement ? Ensure development and implementation of efficient and cost-effective systems to meet current and future needs of the company? Participate as a member of the leadership team, collaborating with other team members to develop and meet company goals, providing expertise and guidance on operations projects? Identify training needs and ensure proper training is developed and provided? Product ? Maintain compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies? Maintain product registration, as neededRequired Skills and Abilities:
1Strong analytical and problem-solving skills2Excellent customer service skills3Strong supervisory and leadership skills4Ability to interpret key financial data as needed to set production and sales goals5Excellent organization skills and attention to detail6Extensive industry, procedural, and customer base knowledge to manage key supplier and customer relationships7Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office and Zoom, with aptitude to learn new software and systems8Previous experience working remotely as part of a team9Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping, accounting, receivables/payables, and related business processes is required10Fertilizer product registration experience preferred11Managing trademarks experience preferred12Excellent verbal and written communication skillsEducation and
