We have been providing our client with qualified consultant with top notch skills in the Software Quality Assurance field.
The ideal candidate must have good written and verbal communication skills; and be able to interface efficiently with all support groups, other QA groups, and development groups in order to get things done independently with minimal oversight.
The incumbent must exhibit quick learning abilities by mastering new concepts which may be business, technical, or process-oriented.
Responsibilities:
Work with the product development team to create test plans Execute test cases (manual and/or automated) and analyze results Monitor application errors and performance monitoring Test application performance with load testing tools Participating in and facilitating requirements gathering sessions with end users Eliciting and documenting business and system requirements Developing user stories with acceptance criteria Performing functional testing of the system Required:
0-2 years of experience as a QA engineer/analyst Motivation and drive to learn new technologies necessary to perform aspects of this job Strong organization skills Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude with a keen eye for detail Works well both individually and on a team Excellent personal presentation, oral, and written skills Clear communication, writing, and presentation skills Understanding of the basic principles of system analysis and quality assurance.
Should be open for relocation if required.
Experience with Web Services/API testing using SOAP UI/Postman Knowledgeable in Agile, Waterfall, and other Software Development Lifecycles Knowledgeable in database concepts (Microsoft SQL Server/Oracle) and SQL querying Knowledge of programming skills are a plus (Java, Javascript, SQL, Python, VB script, Ruby) Willingness to actively work on broadening/adding new skills and learn new ideas and technologies Prepared to learn new technologies like Selenium, SOAP, ReST, SQL, ETL, etc
Qualifications:
Associate/Bachelor's degree or higher in any field.
Preferred- Computer Science (CS), Computer Information Systems (CIS), Electrical Engineering Technology (EET), or Electronics & Computer Technology (ECT) Motivated, self-starting, and eager to learn.
The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
An Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude.
Great interpersonal and communication skills.
