This individual must be dependable, energetic, self motivated, able to work in a fast paced environment with a get it done right attitude.
Duties include, but not limited to:
Human Resources (payroll, benefits administration, 401(k) processing, coordination and implementation for new hires); Facilities Management - work directly with building management as needed; Maintain firm insurance policies (Professional Liability, WC and Business Owners; health and dental insurance renewal process); Handle vendor accounts/negotiate contracts, order supplies; Liaison for IT support - purchase computer equipment, maintain phones, copiers and printers; Librarian and courier duties as needed; Coordinate travel arrangements for attorneys; Facilitate firm and attorney association membership renewals; Assist attorneys with continuing education reporting and coordinate CLE attendance; Marketing - update and create materials as needed; facilitate website and social media updates; created marketing brochures and pitch book profiles; Organize firm social events; handy-man projects as needed.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
