Full TimePOSITION PURPOSE:
The Manager of HR Operations (leave management, workers' compensation, and unemployment claims) is a crucial member of the HR team, reporting directly to the Sr.
Manager of Total Rewards and HR Operations.
This role is responsible for overseeing key operational functions within the department, with a focus on leave management, workers' compensation, unemployment claims and centralized process improvements.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Administer and manage the company's leave of absence programs, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, including FMLA.
Provide direct oversight for Workers' Compensation claims, ensuring timely filing, documentation, and reporting for OSHA compliance.
Supervise the process of unemployment claims, ensuring all filings are submitted in a timely manner.
Identify opportunities across the HR function for centralization and develop and implement strategies to increase operational efficiency and reduce organizational risk.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance HR processes and initiatives.
Assist in the preparation of HR-related reports and data analysis.
Stay updated with changes in employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR operations, with a focus on leave management, workers' compensation, and unemployment claims.
Demonstrated expertise in HR processes and compliance requirements.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to identify and implement process improvements for increased efficiency.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in administrative tasks.
Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems.
Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulation Top Skill Sets needed:
