00 Base+Commission/yearJob CategoryBusiness DevelopmentDescriptionJOB SUMMARYThe person in this position will be responsible primarily for non-TPA related revenue growth in the Branch for both Jenkins Services, LLC and Jenkins Environmental, LLC.
This person will also be responsible for monitoring data input, data output, generated leads, and other sources of client information.
This position is an incentive-based position and revenue growth in a Branch.
This role will report directly to the Director of Sales and Marketing who is responsible for holding the team accountable for achieving the goals and objectives tracked in the Jenkins Restorations CRM, Luxor.
Develop annual business goals which details activities to follow during the fiscal year, which focuses on reaching or exceeding desired goals set for the yearPerforms all phases of sales activities to uncover, develop, and close opportunities including sales calls, follow up calls, conducting client needs analysis, conducting online and in-person meetings and presentations, and servicing existing accountsProvides weekly updates through Luxor on sales activities and results to include opportunities, new contacts, new targets, existing pipeline, ongoing initiatives, and scheduled activitiesSales targets include but are not limited to Insurance Companies, Insurance Agents/Brokers, Property Claims Adjusters, Residential and Commercial Property Managers, Licensed Community Association Managers (LCAM), and individual commercial and residential property owners Maintain accurate records of all activities and sales in the company CRM, Luxor.
Have a thorough working knowledge of the client's process and standards, then assist in holding all involved Jenkins personnel to client guidelines, processes, and standardsAssist in audit data input to confirm accuracyRoutinely call or meet customer to ensure satisfaction with work completedMeet weekly with Director of Sales and Marketing to discuss strategies and progressUpdate and/or include the General Manager in sales strategies and progressProvide new opportunities, interface with the clients, and remotely monitor projectsTravel to large projects - as neededClosely monitor and be responsible for a budget allocated by ManagementRespond to incoming opportunities or projects and help coordinate the mobilization and response accordingly Work closely with the General Manager, and other positions (PMs, Estimators, etc.
) in the Jenkins Restorations Branch to maintain and grow beneficial relationshipsAttend various trade shows and/or events deemed appropriate and beneficial by Management.
QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Associates degree (A.
A or A.
S) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; 2 to 3 years of industry related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Business Development Leader (BDL) must possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Demonstrate the ability to write routine reports, correspondence, and the ability to speak effectively to customers and/or employees of organization.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
To perform this job successfully, the BDL should have knowledge of industry related software be able to touch type and be familiar with software like Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
); able to communicate via cell phone and appropriate apps.
REASONING ABILITY:
The BDL should possess the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
They should also have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form in the English language.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the BDL is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
The employee is frequently required to climb or balance.
The employee is occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and smell.
