Training Manager Distribution Center Operations

OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Distribution Center Training Manager to lead our training and development initiatives within our distribution center operations.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of warehouse processes, training methodologies, and a proven track record of developing and delivering effective training programs.
The Distribution Center Training Manager will play a pivotal role in enhancing the skills and knowledge of our distribution center staff to optimize operational efficiency and ensure adherence to best practices.
Initial focus to develop and manage the training program for a Warehouse Management System / Warehouse Execution System implementation of WMS conversions and Automation building system startups.
Plan, coordinate, and manage training curriculum for Warehouse Management Systems to include training documents and knowledge assessments for associates by role.
Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for distribution center employees, including warehouse operations, safety protocols, equipment operation, and software systems.
Assess training needs through regular interaction with department managers, performance analysis, and feedback from employees.
Create training materials, manuals, presentations, and online resources to support various training modules.
Collaborate with department heads to identify process improvements and update training materials to reflect changes in procedures or technologies.
Maintain training records and track employee progress to ensure compliance with training requirements.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulations related to distribution center operations and training methodologies.
Mentor and provide guidance to training team members, fostering their professional development.

QualificationsQualifications &
Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Learning and Development, Business, or related field.
3-5 years of leadership experience developing and implementing training and learning strategies in distribution, fulfillment, manufacturing, military, or related environment Experience managing training teams; experience with software teams preferred Experience with Knowledge Management preferred Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications to include Project, Excel, Word, SharePoint, and VISIO WMS training experience Lean Six Sigma experience Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong working knowledge of curriculum development and knowledge assessments Ability to work in team-oriented environment with extremely strong customer service skills Ability to multi-task and manage shifting priorities Self-motivated and directed with keen attention to detail and ability to follow-up in a timely fashion Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis (formulas, pivot tables, charts, etc.
) Recommended Skills Analytical Assessments Attention To Detail Automation Business Efficiency Communication Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
