Senior Sales Compensation Analyst

Description Meltwater is seeking a dynamic Senior Sales Compensation Analyst to join our team and play a pivotal role in optimizing our sales compensation programs.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Revenue Operations and Corporate Development, you will be responsible for owning the end-to-end sales compensation process, including designing, implementing, communicating, and administering sales commission, bonus plans, and incentive programs.
Your expertise will be crucial in aligning our compensation strategy with the company's overall sales and divisional objectives.
What You'll Do:
Collaborate with third-party partners to redesign and implement the SIP, taking ownership of ongoing maintenance to ensure alignment with company goals.
Actively participate in annual discussions with stakeholders, such as executive leadership and sales management, to design SIPs that support the company's sales strategy, including target setting and quota allocation.
Define and establish processes and documentation for rules of engagement, quota attainment, revenue attribution, and seller responsibilities in coordination with various teams.
Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices to evolve bonus and commission plans, emphasizing and prioritizing desired sales behaviours.
Collaborate closely with FP&A for commission and bonus calculations and with Accounting for accruals, ensuring planning and forecasting accuracy.
Analyze sales performance results compared to incentives and payouts, preparing recommendations for improvement and tracking SPIFFs or off-cycle plan changes.
Work on implementing and maintaining the sales compensation tool (SPIFF) alongside the Sales Commission team.
Develop and deliver training for HR business partners, talent acquisition staff, and sales leadership to ensure a deep understanding and effective communication of the sales commission incentive strategy and programs.
What You'll Bring:
Minimum of 3 years of professional compensation experience, with at least 2 years directly involved in designing sales compensation programs.
Familiarity with SaaS sales modeling is essential for success in this role.
Exceptional communication skills are required to create and deliver detailed analytical reports, compensation plans, and presentations across all levels of the organization.
Ability to manage large volumes of complex data sources Proficiency in incentive and financial modeling is essential to design effective sales incentive plans.
Experience with different sales compensation software, preferably SPIFF, is highly desirable.
Impeccable attention to detail is necessary for accurate plan development and administration.
