What You Will Do:
Establish and assess work quality standards for the department Conduct projects including T-SQL, Visual Basic 6, Visual Basic.
NET and Excel VBA development, and VB6 to.
NET conversions Conduct performance reviews (annual and mid-point reviews).
Determine the technology solutions to be incorporated into the overall IT architecture Interface with local business management to explain IT activities and needs in non-technical business terms Apply IT policies and procedures to assess the compliance of our locally-managed network and systems and devise/implement corrective actions Respond to various corporate IT inquiries regarding locally managed systems Participate in periodic corporate IT compliance audits Interface with corporate IT to complete required, periodic IT security plan reviews, updates, and business resiliency/recovery planning for locally managed networks and systems Ensure locally managed systems are controlled and monitored (server log summaries, privileged user activity, etc.
) to identify unauthorized or potentially nefarious activity Provide business analysis and project management guidance to IT staff understanding of all IT project requests and status Upgrades (servers, manufacturing systems, network infrastructure), vendor software patches, report requests, new software application development, updates to existing applications, and bug fixes Suggest solution approaches for users and staff developers Evaluate user-provided specifications for completeness and practicality and ensure they will solve the business problem.
Review and create project specifications Evaluate solution approaches by staff developers to ensure those solutions will meet business requirements and fit into the overall software system framework What You Will Need:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) 5
years of experience working in software development using.
NET 5
years of experience in ERP systems (Infor Visual a plus) Experience with T-SQL, Visual Basic 6, Visual Basic.
