is seeking a Construction Sales Representative with highway construction, municipal work and asphalt paving experience.
Qualified candidates must be self-motivated Construction Professionals with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the industry.
Candidates should be familiar with site development and highway construction, understand job cost management, self-starter and comfortable working independently, have a strong work ethic and work well with other members of the team.
Knowledge of PlanSwift software and experience in project management/MS Project are preferred.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Able to generate sales with and without cold calling Build and maintain owner/client relationship Bid project cost and present to customer Work with Project and Area Managers to create and implement project schedule Attend pre-job meetings, visit jobsites to obtain data for specialized scopes of work and attend customer follow-up meetings Read bid specifications/scope of work and review drawings as well as understand contractual terms and conditions to compile accurate cost data for asphalt or concrete estimates Review and evaluate job costs and track and manage change order work Review bids with upper management Perform assigned tasks in a safe, timely, accurate and efficient manner observing all safety laws, policies and rules Detail & compile organized bids in an accurate but timely manner for unit priced, lump sum and negotiated project opportunities Work with vendors and subcontractors to secure quotations; analyze and coordinate to ensure contract compliance and best fit/value Prepare proposal within software to include detailed scope & clarifications Work closely with employer and customer in order to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction QUALIFICATIONS Previous construction, asphalt paving and/or sales experience preferred Must have effective communication, math and computer skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test Must be at least 18 years old SAFETY AND COMPLIANCE We prioritize the safety and wellness of our road construction processes by following the Company's safety programs and policies, thus mitigating risk and improving overall productivity of the projects with safety at the forefront.
