The Albemarle Organizational Effectiveness (OE) Team is looking for a Director of Organizational Design and Development (OD) to lead the OD Center of Excellence (COE).
This role will enable executives, HR, and cross-functional collaboration across traditional boundaries to drive company performance.
How You Will Spend the Majority of Your Time:
Building capability to support organizational change, growth, and transformation Start-up and lead a global, innovative Organization Development function to support Albemarle's strategy, structure, talent, and culture.
Model a consultative approach to empower the HR team to develop organizational capability and team performance.
Create our strategic roadmap and drive implementation planning for enterprise-wide initiatives that align purpose, values, and strategy.
Shaping, refining, and supporting executive effectiveness in leading talent and culture with a values-based approach at Albemarle Provide thought partnership to the Chief People Officer, the HR Leadership Team, Executive Committee(s), and senior business leaders through effective listening and with humility.
Serve as coach and advisor to develop, elevate, and advance leaders and leadership.
Serve as partner, guide, and role model for successfully operating within a matrixed environment.
Architecting organization design tools, resources, and practices; implementing strategies for operating model improvements that build value, resilience, and organizational capability Drive innovation and agility across Albemarle's global footprint within a dynamic and rapidly changing business environment.
Build organization design practices and solutions that create the enabling infrastructure required to meet our growth aspirations, now and in the future.
Assess and diagnose global organizational needs to initiate, design, consult on, and execute initiatives that best support leader, team, and organization effectiveness.
This newly created and impactful position provides the opportunity to influence the highest levels of the organization Assessment of talent and culture, from M&A due diligence and people integration to advancing organizational health across the enterprise.
Utilize modern HR technology and systems to activate scalable organization design engagement across the organization.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and continuous education in Human Resources, Learning, Leadership, Organization Development, Talent Management, or related.
Demonstrated capability in leadership development.
Credibility and presence with senior leaders and colleagues at all levels.
Translating business strategies into talent and workforce initiatives, from ideation to execution.
Effectively executing practical solutions that directly support business objectives.
Leading large, global change initiatives across a complex organization.
Experience leading a COE.
Passionate about thinking creatively, prototyping new ideas, and working with agility.
Bold in involving a broad set of stakeholders and willing to 'fail fast to learn fast.

Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Organizational Communications, Business Administration, Human Resources, or closely related discipline.
Ten (10) years of leadership experience in talent management, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, communications, or management consulting with increasing levels of responsibility.
Business partner within a global company undergoing major transformation or change.
Effectively integrating talent programs into the business cycle.
Enthusiastic about building relationships throughout a global workforce.
Curious about leading edge practices across multiple fields and industries.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
