Job DescriptionServiceNow Technical AnalystAlbemarle seeks a talented ServiceNow Technical Analyst to join its IT Security and Asset Management team.
This position will work within a geographically dispersed global IT team and will closely collaborate with ServiceNow process owners and the user community effectively.
The selected candidate will be responsible for testing & support various implementations, enhancements, and upgrades, providing data analytics reporting, training for IT and global business users, assisting in collecting business requirements, monitoring platform performance, and proactively identifying and resolving issues.
The candidate will be responsible for the following job duties in the ServiceNow environment:
Provide Functional unit testing and quality assurance activities associated with platform modifications, upgrades, feature releases, and application deliveries.
Build reports, dashboards, and other data exports to improve operational visibility for IT Leadership, Operations, and Compliance teams.
Assist in managing the backlog and translating requirements into specifications as part of the Agile process.
Create and manage content and training for IT and key business units.
Assist in identifying various issues our users face in ServiceNow.
Monitor system performance and perform health checks.
Collaborate with Platform and Delivery teams to schedule ServiceNow Upgrades and Patching.
Collaborate with team members and other technical resources to research new platform functionality.
Work with project stakeholders and business systems colleagues, including third-party service providers, in supporting the technical delivery of new projects and capabilities.
Work closely across IT functions and service providers to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Adhere to existing platform governance processes for support and maintenance.
Required
Qualifications:
BS degree in Computer Science or 3
years of related experience.

years of ServiceNow general platform experience.
2
years of ServiceNow Performance Analytics and reporting Strong knowledge of ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITAM, HR, SPM, and Employee Center Portal) Practical experience working with an Agile team using Scrum principles.
Experience with Unit testing and quality assurance activities Experience creating training documentation and conducting training.
Knowledge of CMDB and Asset Management concepts Knowledge of the ITSM framework (ITIL) Preferred
Qualifications:

years of experience in ITSM Excellent interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Constructive attitude with a focus on progressing the business forward.
Experience with Agile methodologies and practices Experience writing stories in SPM.
