BE PART OF THE CONNECTIONAs a Business Intelligence Application Developer II, you are responsible for the development of sustainable OLAP reporting solutions to help business verticals run their organization and maximize the utility of Charter's data assets.
The Business Intelligence Application Developer II will have a complete understanding of how to leverage the MicroStrategy toolset to build sustainable solutions that are easily consumable information at the reporting layer and maintain a level of expertise on how that information is used in the organization to design, develop, implement, enhance, and support such solutions.

Transforming business requirements into sustainable BI solutions through the construction of MicroStrategy reports and dashboards.
Understanding MicroStrategy architecture and how the tool interacts with the data warehouse model.
Expertise in transforming data into visually appealing dashboards that are easily consumed.
Proficient in MicroStrategy's mobile dashboarding solutions for iPad and Android.
Successfully extend reporting architecture as new areas of functionality are introduced to the warehouse in a sustainable and supportable way.
Performance tuning of dossiers / documents / cubes for quick access to information through efficient SQL generation or caching strategy.
Writing SQL scripts against the Teradata warehouse to support analysis, discovery, and testing of reports.
Understanding and execute proper development practices through a standard BI SDLC.
Understanding the fundamentals of a dimensional data warehouse model and how to optimize the way data is organized for consumption in MicroStrategy.
Supporting and documenting reports in a way that maximizes end user efficiency.
Quickly iterate and prototype on key business initiatives to arrive at a finished product that aligns with end user expectations.
Contribute reporting ideas and innovations to business customers through delivery.
Performing other duties as requested.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUMRequired Qualifications MicroStrategy report development - 3
years Data Warehouse design/development - 3
years SQL Query Design - 3
years Ability to read, write, speak and understand English Expertise in the entire MicroStrategy toolset Demonstrated SQL skills with the ability to optimize, analyze, and improve performance Self-motivated with an ability to confidently execute independently with little direction Ability to work well under pressure Knowledge in data warehousing concepts and star-schema architecture Demonstrated communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) Demonstrated organizational skills Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude Ability to establish/build cross divisional relationships/collaboration Meticulous attention to detail Motivation to stay up-to-speed on industry best practices and new technologies Required EducationBachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology or business related field, or equivalent experiencePreferred Qualifications Experience with Teradata and/or other MPP data warehouse platforms Experience working with Telecom/Cable MSO data and applications Experience working with Tableau Working ConditionsOnsite 5 daysSPECTRUM CONNECTS YOU TO MORE Dynamic Growth:
