The Accounts Payable Associate provides support for department functions with specific responsibility for performing activities related to the accurate processing of authorized invoices; recording, updating and reconciling related financial information; and providing accounting support to other personnel in accordance with established practices.
What You Will Do:
Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing and accurately recording invoices; ensure appraisal invoices are processed and paid accurately and timely.
Process employee expense reports and reimbursements.
Handle vendor statements and various inquiries, providing excellent internal and external customer service; resolve invoice or payment discrepancies; ensure credits/refunds are requested/received as applicable.
Pay vendors via multiple methods; void/reissue payments.
Assist with Vendor Master accuracy via W9s, TIN Matching and ACH Authorization Forms for proper setup and maintenance of vendor records.
Maintain company credit card receipts as obtained or received.
Protects the organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
What You Need:
1-3 years Accounts Payable or Accounting experience Forms 1099/Vendor Maintenance experience a plus Detail oriented and organized with the ability to prioritize and multitask while providing excellent customer service Highly proficient with technology and comfortable with a semi-paperless environment Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Ability to maintain focus on a work-from-home / work-in-office rotation schedule Home environment conducive to productivity and customer service Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel experience a plus Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal and organizational skills Ability to work well with a team environment and take constructive criticism, coaching and feedback on a consistent basis Positive attitude Ability to exercise discretion on sensitive or confidential matters What We Offer:

The expected base salary for this position ranges from thirty eight thousand dollars to forty two thousand dollars, determined based on the applicant's experience, skillset, education, training, certificates, and licenses.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
