Senior Network Engineer

To be completed during/after intake - Under general supervision, assists in the planning, forecasting, implementation, and identification of resource requirements for network systems basic to moderate complexity.
Monitors protocol compatibility standards, develops and implements network enhancements and makes recommendations for improvement.
Responsible for implementation of network architecture and designs.
BE PART OF THE CONNECTIONAs a Network Engineer on THIS teamyou'll be responsible for general supervision, assists in the planning, forecasting, implementation, and identification of resource requirements for network systems basic to moderate complexity.

Intermediate Data Networking Knowledge (OSI Model, TCP/IP, Optical Networking)Demonstrated knowledge of related industry specifications and standards IEEE, ANSI, Fiber(Multimode, Single mode, UTP, etc.
), Bridging, Switching, Routing, Ethernet and Transport technologies and protocolsKnowledge in network design, network architecture, protocols and network topologyDemonstrated knowledge in using ticketing and software tools to support the current operationsDemonstrated Knowledge of basic network devices and basic network appliancesDemonstrated knowledge of network designing software, such as VisioKnowledge of Microsoft OfficeAbilities :
Ability to read, write and speak the English language to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straight-forward, and professional mannerAbility to use personal computer and software applicationsAbility to work in a team environment Demonstrated knowledge of related industry specifications and standards IEEE, ANSI, FiberAbility to perform duties in a very fast pace environment and ability to learn new technology quicklyTravel Ability :
