AR/Billing Specialist
STR Mechanical is a rapidly expanding commercial HVAC specialist with branches throughout the southeast.
We provide services in maintenance agreements, temperature controls, commercial kitchen service, plumbing, and construction.

We are currently seeking an AR/Billing Specialist in Charlotte.
Responsibilities:
Invoice all service orders submitted to billing by dispatch Processes all New Customer Request Forms timely, verifying proper signature/authorizations received with completed W-9, entering, and documenting in system and maintaining paper records.
Invoicing major projects and maintenance invoices.
Enter invoices on customer third party platforms and monitor for corrections and updates.
Make collection calls by examining invoices that are late for payments.
Contact all customers and make payment arrangements.
Generated, maintain and process Preventative Maintenance Agreements.
Generate monthly statements and past due emails.
Maintain and reconcile the accounts receivable.
Back-up Accounts Payable as needed.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Work is performed while sitting for prolonged periods of time Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations Requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds REQUIREMENTS:
Associate degree or 3 years' experience in accounting Mechanical billing experience preferred AIA billing experience preferred Excellent computer skills, Excel experience required, Adobe experience preferred Must be detail oriented Excellent verbal communication skills Ability to multi-task and make sure work is completed properly and efficiently Excellent organization and problem-solving skills Ability to meet deadlines and work in fast paced office setting Takes gentle care of all company owned equipment and assets Ability to work overtime as necessary COINS computer system experience preferred Recommended Skills Accounting Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Adobe Experience Manager Attention To Detail Billing Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
