Construction Superintendent
Construction Superintendent Position Title:
Construction Superintendent About Blue Heel Development/Construction Mid-Size building and development company based in Raleigh, NC is looking for an Construction Superintendent in the Charlotte, NC and surrounding area.
This is an assistant site supervision/management role and would require someone with 2-3 years experience in residential single family and townhome construction.
This would be a unique opportunity to build for rent housing that does not involve a customer experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Recognize and enforce quality standards through daily inspection of homes under construction Inspect each house daily to assure the quality of workmanship, ensures all work is in accordance with plans and specifications and determines the status as it compares to the production schedule Schedule and walk all inspections with inspectors Walks each completed home before the delivery of a unit and work with Construction Manager for sign-off to make sure that the home is complete, clean, and meets standards of quality Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company Develop and maintain good rapport with subcontractors and homeowners/tenants Execute company policies and enforces uniformity on construction methods to ensure compliance with quality standards Assist with stormwater inspections and repairs as needed if necessary.
Knowledge, Skills And Background Ability to handle multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm and positive.
Ability to effectively work with managers and employees at all levels and develop positive relationships and a productive culture.
Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to get along with diverse personalities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to adapt to changing environments.
Attention to detail Very organized with a systematic approach to achieving accuracy and efficiency Willingness to love your job, portray a great attitude, and take ownership of your position.
Problem Solving Skills Education And Experience Associate Degree or equivalent education 2
years of experience in the Construction / Homebuilding industry.
Experience in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control.
Previous experience with Buildtopia Software is a plus! Highly proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word).
